# STAKE ODIN

Staking ODIN allows you to participate in the GodMode Finance ecosystem's yield generation and deflationary mechanisms, transforming your ODIN into pValhalla through the PEAHALLA pod. Follow these steps to stake your ODIN:

**Step 1: Ensure You Have ODIN**\
Before staking, make sure you have already purchased ODIN and it is available in your Web3 wallet. If you haven’t acquired ODIN yet, refer to the *How to Buy ODIN* section.

**Step 2: Visit Peapods.Finance**\
Navigate to [Peapods.Finance](https://peapods.finance) and connect your Web3 wallet to access the staking features. Ensure that your wallet is set to the Ethereum network and that you have enough ETH to cover gas fees.

**Step 3: Find the PEAHALLA Pod**\
Once on the Peapods Finance platform, locate the PEAHALLA pod. Double-check that you are interacting with the correct pod designated for staking ODIN to generate pValhalla.

**Step 4: Stake Your ODIN**

1. Select the PEAHALLA pod and follow the prompts to stake your ODIN.
2. Enter the amount of ODIN you wish to stake and review the transaction details, including any potential fees.
3. **Reminder**: Staking ODIN into pValhalla involves a 1% wrap fee, and unwrapping pValhalla back into ODIN will incur a 1% unwrap fee. Be mindful of these fees when planning your staking and unwrapping actions.
4. Approve the transaction in your Web3 wallet to initiate the staking process.

**Step 5: Receive pValhalla**\
After the transaction is confirmed on the Ethereum network, you will receive pValhalla tokens in exchange for staking your ODIN. These tokens represent your staked position and allow you to participate in yield generation and the deflationary mechanisms of the GodMode ecosystem.

**Step 6: Add pValhalla to Your Wallet**\
If pValhalla does not automatically appear in your Web3 wallet, you may need to manually add the token using the contract address for pValhalla:

* **pValhalla Contract Address**: 0xA77013378dAc318802ddDF40bD7C7EF5dB594c95

This step ensures you can view and manage your staked assets.

Congratulations! You have successfully staked your ODIN in the PEAHALLA pod and are now earning yield while contributing to the deflationary processes of the Valhalla ecosystem.
